the warning signal manually. Then two additional warning towers were built in the
Nua village near the Praphat beach and at the soccer fi eld in the Hat Sai Khao vil-
lage. The tsunami warning system installed in these new warning towers, were con-
nected directly to the national tsunami warning system and will be alarmed
automatically from the central command offi ce in Bangkok. There has been a
