Enabling Developer Options
First, make sure you've installed all available updates for your Android device. The
device should be running at least Android 4.2—and 4.4 is even better, as versions 4.2 and
4.3 may cause the app to freeze/hang when debugging due to an Android bug.
Locate the Settings app and open it. On the More tab, scroll down and tap the About
device item at the very bottom. (See Figure 13-4 ) .
