In-Depth Information
You should also refer to the documentation if you have a project that was created with
SpriteBuilder v1.2 or earlier (like the topic's projects in earlier chapters). These projects
have to undergo a conversion process.
The recommended way is to create a new SpriteBuilder project with the latest
SpriteBuilder version, and then restore your original CCB, resource, and source code files
into both SpriteBuilder and Xcode. Again, for details refer to the SpriteBuilder Android
documentation because the process is a bit more involved, though not too difficult to fol-
low.
Installing Android Xcode Plugins
If you run SpriteBuilder v1.3 beta for the first time or whenever there's an update, you'll
see a message stating that Android Xcode plugins are being installed, as shown in Figure
13-1 .
Figure 13-1 . SpriteBuilder v1.3 and newer versions automatically install Android Support as Xcode plugins
Caution Whenever you see the message in Figure 13-1 , you should close and
restart Xcode so that Xcode will load and use the latest versions of the plugins.
If you need to uninstall or re-install the Android Xcode plugins, you can find the instruc-
tions on how to remove the plugins here: ht-
