5.3 Simulations
The simulation domain is a bidimensional lattice of 350 500 sites. The
characteristic length of each site is 2 m: therefore represents a section of a
24-well of size 0.7 mm 1 mm. One MCS is set to correspond to 2 s. The initial
conditions of all simulations consist of a mass of ARO cells, whose dimensions
are given in Tables C.1 and C.5, scraped at one side border by a wound of
0.35 mm (175 px); see Figure 5.2. The dimension of the scratch is lower than
