where I have listed the contents of the
/mnt
directory; you
can see that the
web
and
webcookies
directories are mounted and ready for use. Now try to
run Abaco again. If all has gone well you should have a window running Abaco.

Open a new window inside of Abaco to browse a web page. To do this, press Shift and
right-click on the word New or use your middle mouse button if you have one.

browsed to the Plan 9 home page.

Abaco is quite basic as you can see, and you would have also noticed how much Plan 9 relies on a three-button
mouse. Plan 9 contains no real usable end-user applications that are suitable for everyday use. If you want to see what
applications are installed in Plan 9, just list the
/bin
directory and you will see applications that you can run. This is
a good example of the directory binding in action. Unlike RISC OS, the sole purpose of Plan 9 is to demonstrate an
