Figure 7-15. The Data tab on the Inspector palette lets you configure the type of control people use
to enter data into the field. If you only see the Field heading in the Inspector, then click the triangle
just to the left of the word “Field” to reveal the controls.
Here's how:
1.
In Layout mode, on the People Detail (formatted) layout, select the Status field
.
As usual, you need to tell FileMaker which field you want to change first.
2.
If the Inspector isn't onscreen, choose View
→
Inspector or type Ctrl+I (
⌘
-I)
.
Click the Data tab in the Inspector.
3.
From the “Control style” pop-up menu, choose “Pop-up menu.”
