When you select more than one table occurrence, the second group, the Arrange tools, becomes
available. The tiny triangle in the bottom-right corner of each tool shows that you can choose how
the tool behaves. You also have standard zoom tools, and printing tools for getting the graph onto
paper.
Managing Table Occurrences Using the Tables/Relationships Tools
These tools help you create and edit
table occurrences
(TOs) on the graph. A table occur-
rence is a representation of a table on the Relationships graph. Each time you create a new
table in the Manage Database Tables tab, FileMaker automatically adds a TO for your new
table on the Relationships graph. But you're not limited to just that one. FileMaker lets you
create multiple TOs of any given table in your database. They only caveat is that each TO
must have a unique name.
