the right edge is the Edit Layout button (Form and List views), which changes to a Modify button
when you're in Table view. In the middle there's a Preview button to see how the layout would look
if you printed it.
The Layout Status Toolbar and Layout Mode
When you switch to Layout mode, the Layout and Status toolbars change to show the tools
you need to customize your layout. Even the menu choices and available commands have
changed. Two new menus (Layouts and Arrange) have appeared, the Records menu is gone,
and if you scroll through the other menus, you'll see that they have many new commands in
them.
Before you start designing, it makes sense to get familiar with these new tools. Figure 3-7
shows what your database looks like in Layout mode and points out the tools and objects you
need to identify when you're doing basic layout design.
