In-Depth Information
Figure 19-9. The Admin Console's Status pane shows an overview of your server and its compon-
ents. You'll see feedback on components and their current status. A green checkmark means the
component is turned on and functioning properly. A red exclamation point means the component is
not functioning. For instance, in a multiple computer deployment, it might mean that the master
server can't communicate with the worker machine that component is running on. A yellow ques-
tion mark means the component is running, but hasn't been configured. A gray circle means the
component is not running and must be started for FileMaker Server to use it.
Schedules . This pane gives you summary information about scheduled tasks on your
server. Pop-up menus let you create, edit, duplicate, delete, enable (or disable), and run
schedules. You can schedule backups, messages, scripts (system-level, FileMaker, and
script sequences), and verify database integrity. Backups are the most important sched-
uled task. Learn how to create one on Understanding Backups .
