jams (mango, pineapple and guava, passion fruit and tangerine), Kusamba sea salt and hand-

chase jewellery here produced by inmates at Kerobokan jail in an initiative established with

crafts from across Indonesia including plenty of textiles, pictures and ceramics. Worth taking
a walk out here from central Ubud. Daily 9am-8pm.
Kafe Jl Hanoman 44B 0361 780802; map . Tiny area in the restaurant for handicrafts,
books, food (including tea, coffee and chocolate) and toiletries. The bags from recycled ma-
terials by the XSProject Group are great fun. Daily 8am-11pm.
Kupu-Kupu Jl Raya Ubud kupukupufoundation.org ; map . Small outlet for inexpensive
works produced by disabled woodcarvers, kite-makers, painters, bead-workers and weavers,
under the auspices of the Kupu-Kupu foundation. Staffed by the artists themselves. Daily
10am-6pm.

ugly they're cute - and just about transportable in your luggage if you buy nothing else. Daily
