For a day of fine food, style, sun and sunset beside the breakers, it's hard to beat the growing
proliferation of beach clubs - some like

offer superb cuisine (but you'll
need deep pockets).
this self-consciously hip modern dining, drinking and lounging venue; punters come for the
large pool, quality modern Oz food (mains Rp130,000) around and decent cocktail menu.

fabulously located beachside bar/restaurant, is arguably the best of Kuta's beach places,
which run south of the Discovery mall. It's certainly the most relaxed, a great sunset
option for cocktails like passionfruit and vanilla mojitos and light pizzas and pasta.

remains a cut above for sophisticated dining and relaxing beachside. The sea views are as
breathtaking as the prices on the modern European dinner menu (Rp300,000 for sweet black
miso cod) - lunches such as chargrilled squid with white bean and chorizo are more afford-
able (Rp120,000). Often hosts club nights too.

retro furnishings tap into the glamour of Fifties Miami, but really it's about great modern
