Now you are ready to test your answers to the “Static Routes with an Exit Interface Exercise” by con-
figuring static routes in Packet Tracer. Open file LSG02-0202.pka on the CD-ROM that accompanies
this topic to perform this exercise using Packet Tracer.
Task 1: Remove Static Routes with Next-Hop Addresses
Before configuring static routes with exit interfaces, remove the static routes that are using
next-hop addresses.
Step 1.
To verify that all the static routes are removed, view the routing tables on HQ, B1, and B2.
Only directly connected networks should be listed.
Step 2.
Your completion percentage should still be 0%. No commands are graded yet.

Configure static routes for HQ according to your answers in the section “Static Routes
with an Exit Interface Exercise.”
