Chapter 2. Setting
Your
Preferences
and Customization
When you start drawing in SketchBook Pro, you will notice that the images are a bit
fuzzy; not clean and crisp. You will see this especially when you zoom in on your im-
age. If you are going to print your images, it's important to set the canvas and image
preferences to ensure the quality of your images.
Canvas
In the menu bar, go to
Edit
|
Preferences
|
Canvas
. In the pop-up window shown in
the screenshot, you will see that the default width, height, and resolution settings are
too low.
When you zoom in on an image with these settings, that image will pixelate, and when
you print the image, the quality of the print will be very poor.
