BMP ( Windows Bitmap ): Bitmaps can be high-quality images but they are
also huge files, and there is virtually no difference in the quality when com-
pared to TIFF files. Moreover, TIFFs are more widely used, especially on
computers that do not run on Windows.
PSD ( Photoshop Document ):PSDis,ofcourse,AdobePhotoshop'sdefault
file format. Saving a file in this format will preserve your layers when you im-
port the file into Photoshop. TIFF files will not preserve the layers outside
SketchBook Pro. Saving in the PSD file format will allow you to continue
working in Photoshop, which allows you to continue working on your image
using the options in this software. The following illustration was created in
SketchBook Pro 6 and completed using the watercolor filter in Photoshop:
