3. Observing in the Left viewport, drag the depth of the cylinder to approxi-
mately what a barrel might look like (see Figure 3.1).

4. In the Parameters box, set Radius to 20.0, Height to 60.0, Height Segments
to 15, Cap Segments to 1, and Sides to 18, as shown in Figure 3.2.
5. Next to the Create tab in the Command Panel is the Modify tab. Click on
it to open it up. You will still see the same Parameters box that was in the
Create panel when you made the cylinder primitive.
6. Converting the model to an Editable Mesh is the next step. In any of
the viewports, right-click on the model. In the marking menu, select
Convert to, Convert to Editable Mesh. You will notice that the menu in
the Command Panel will change significantly, as shown in Figure 3.3.
