In-Depth Information
Figure 8.47 Bring up the Create Multiple Footsteps: Walk dialog box.
5. Change the Number of Footsteps value to 6 in the General group of the
dialog box and click on OK.
6. Now you can create the keys for the walk by clicking on the Create Keys
for Inactive Footsteps button, which is the first button from the left in the
Footsteps Operations rollout. The biped will change to line up with the
footsteps, as shown in Figure 8.48.
Hint
If you can't see the Footsteps in the viewports, you can turn them on by clicking on the Show
Footsteps and Numbers button in the Display group of the Biped rollout, as shown in Figure 8.49.
7. Run the animation to see the Biped walk. Notice that the Biped changed
dramatically when placed in the key frames. The motion will need to be
adjusted to offset these changes.
8. You will need to adjust the keys of the walk to fit the model. Bring back the
model by going to the Display tab and accessing the Display panel, then
clicking on Unhide All in the Hide rollout. The mesh will reappear, as
shown in Figure 8.50.
