The animation of the arm will work better if the extruding polygons are perpendicular to the arm.
Rotate the extruded polygons to be perpendicular to the arm.
13. Adjust the vertices in the Front view to fit the contours of the template, as
shown in Figure 6.41.

14. Now extrude down to the palm of the hand.
15. When you have finished extruding, go back and move the vertices to follow
the template from the Front view around the hand.
16. Next, swing around the hand in the Perspective view and shape it so it looks
like a palm, as shown in Figure 6.42.
17. Now the arm needs to be expanded in the Y axis because it is too narrow.
Select the vertices of the arm and use the Scale tool in the Y axis only to
expand the arm (see Figure 6.43).
18. Next will be the breast. Shape the polygons around the base of the breast
and extrude and scale the breast, as shown in Figure 6.44.
