Hint
When building a symmetrical model, there is no need to create the entire model from scratch. It is much
easier to achieve symmetrical models if you only build half of the model and then use the Mirror
tools to create the other half. This procedure will result in perfectly symmetrical models every time.
7. Now you can continue extruding the polygons upward, as shown in
Figure 6.37.
8. Next extrude the midriff and ribcage, ignoring the breasts for now.
9. When you get to the shoulders, move the vertices to match the template,
as shown in Figure 6.38.
10. Now you can extrude the arm, but first you need to adjust the vertices of
the shoulder to match the shape of the arm, as shown in Figure 6.39.
11. As you did with the hips, extrude the arm polygons only a small amount,
as shown in Figure 6.40.
12. Extrude down the length of the arm. Make sure you extrude smaller units
around the elbow area for better animation.
