4. Set the attributes in the Parameters rollout as follows (see Figure 6.10).

5. Bring up the Material Editor, as shown in Figure 6.11.
6. Click on the first Sample Slot, and then click on the Maps rollout to bring
up the map options.
7. Find Diffuse Color on the list and click on it to bring up the Material/Map
Browser, as shown in Figure 6.12
8. The template is a bitmap file, so double-click on Bitmap in the list to bring
up the Select Bitmap Image File dialog box.
9. Load in the front view of the character template.
10. Now apply the material to the plane and make it viewable, as shown in
Figure 6.13.
