Notice that almost half of the players have a batting average of 0.000, and there's a note in
the lower-right corner of the view telling us there are “16 nulls,” or 16 players that didn't
have any at bats. The players with a batting average of 0.000 only came to the plate a few
times.
Further, notice that Melky Mesa, at the top of the list, has a batting average of exactly 0.500.
He only had two at bats in the 2012 season, earning a single hit and locking in his “team
best” batting average for the year. Surely, including these players isn't a good way to com-
municate this proportion. One approach would be to filter out every player who didn't have a
certain number of at bats.
