Any one of these advanced Dashboard elements can make a big difference, and it's up to you
to know when to use them, and when to leave them out. Stay focused on your objective, re-
spect and honor the data above all else, and show good design sense. Ask yourself what you
should
do, not what you
could
do.
These features can make it fun to communicate data, and they can engage and delight your
audience. They can also mislead and distract, so be sure to test them out on some willing
guinea pigs and gauge the impact.
