Once the files are in this location, we can then add them to the map by taking the following
steps:
1. Change the Mark type from
Circle
to
Shape
(the Shape card should appear to the right
of Tooltip)—Tableau changes the marks to rings.
2. Drag
Roof Type
from
Dimensions
to the
Shape
shelf—Tableau automatically assigns
default shapes.
3. Click the
Shape
card (or click the small down arrow in the upper-right corner of the
shape legend).
4. In the dialog box that appears (see
Figure 11-7
)
, select your folder in the
Select Shape
Palette
and assign the appropriate icon to the roof type in the list to the left. If the
folder does not appear, click the
Reload Shapes
button.
