The map with team name labels is much easier to digest than the list, even if a few of the
team names are difficult to read due to proximity to another team. We can immediately see
the clustering of teams in the Northeast, and I can see right away that the Seattle players
probably fly the farthest over the course of a season to play their games.
But there's still some ambiguity in this map, as I don't know the exact location of each
team's city relative to the text displayed. Are the cities located near the first letters, the last
letters, in the middle, or somewhere else?
To resolve this ambiguity, we can change the Marks type from Text back to Circles , and we
see very quickly that each city is located in the center of the text and slightly above it, as
shown in Figure 11-4 .
