4.6 CONCLUSIONS
1. Drugs known to cause cardiotoxic adverse side effects in humans show similar
effects in zebrafish.
2. Zebrafish assays are rapid, reproducible, and quantitative.
3. Small amount of drug is required.
4. In vivo zebrafish cardiotoxicity assessment provides useful information
complementing data from conventional hERG assays.
