Neurotoxicity
Developmental neurotoxicity involves alterations in behavior, neurohistology, neu-
rochemistry, neurophysiology, or gross dysmorphology due to exposure during
development. The developing embryonic brain is more sensitive to perturbation by
toxins due to the disruption of sensitive processes that occur only during development,
