a new site for the initiation of replication. Thus, the polymerase completes the
replication of the DNAzyme, and the reactivated replication at the scission site dis-
places the already synthesized DNAzyme. Subsequently, in the presence of hemin,
the autonomous synthesis of the G-quadruplex DNAzyme structure is activated.
The DNAzyme catalyzes the oxidation of ABTS 2 by H 2 O 2 or stimulates the
generation of chemiluminescence in the presence of luminol/H 2 O 2 . The proposed
