6.7.2 Chemocapacitive Sensor
Capacitive sensors sometimes identified as chemocapacitors are category of
electrochemical sensor. The capacitive sensor consists of two sets of interdigitated
electrode structures, which correspond to the two plates of a standard capacitor
(Fig. 6.16 ). The sensor monitors changes in the dielectric coefficient of the
polymer between electrodes upon analyte absorption. Therefore, chemocapacitors
