Most of these acute oral studies are not GLP nor done to any standard
protocol, but demonstrate low acute oral toxicity. Most of the acute oral
data was previous summarized by American Methanol Institute (2001).
Table 4.1 gives a listing of available data on methanol acute oral
toxicity.
