Practical exercise
Imagine that you now need to provide input to the frontend and infrastructure engineering
team about the data that your machine learning system will need. Consider a brief for them
on how they should structure the data-collection mechanisms. Write down some examples
of what the raw data might look like (for example, web logs, event logs, and so on) and
how it should flow through the system. Take into account the following aspects:
• What data sources will be required
• What format should the data be in
• How often should data be collected, processed, potentially aggregated, and stored
• What data storage will you use to ensure scalability
