Editing the settings in MakerWare
MakerWare, MakerBot's own slicing program, has many improvements over
ReplicatorG in how it slices models and the detail level possible. However, since its
settings are so well dialed-in for Makerbot 3D printers they aren't as exposed as they
are in ReplicatorG. But they are there and are editable. Perform the following steps to
edit the settings in MakerWare:
1.
In MakerWare, navigate to File | Open and locate Bracelet.stl .
2.
Answer Yes to the prompt to put the object on the platform.
3.
Click on the M button at the top middle to prepare this model for printing.
4.
In the menu that pops up, click on the triangle next to Advanced to open-up
the advanced options.
