American citizens can enter Thailand for up to 30 days without a visa. Your passport must
be valid for 6 months and have at least one blank visa page. If you would like to stay for
longer than 30 days then you can go to a Thailand embassy and get a tourist visa. Citizens of
most other Western and European countries are also able to land and enter Thailand for up to
