Booting the Operating System
You will need an SD card with the OS already installed on it. You can either buy one pre-
installed or follow the instructions earlier in this appendix to make your own.
Insert the SD card in the slot on the underside of the Raspberry Pi, on the left, as shown in
Figure A-10. Take care to keep the card parallel with the Raspberry Pi when you slide it in or
out so as not to break the edge of the retaining slots (shown in Figure A-11).
