Additive Mix - this group transfers and blends their pixels' lighter
values; this is similar to projecting different color lights onto one
common object, making a new, often brighter, color light pattern.

Blending - in this fourth group, pixels share aspects of both Additive
and Subtractive modes, creating richer, more vibrant and contrasting
results; here the 50% luminance point affects the bottom layer the least.

Inverting Alteration - pixels beneath the layer using these modes
become inverted, creating opposing colors and shades of the source
