Avid Windows AVI Codec Issues
Avid Editing systems
running on Windows
OS machines have a
special configuration
issue where the
installed AVI Codec
defaults to PAL use -

NTSC users.
To change the AVI
Codec setup, you
need to delve deep
into your Windows OS Management.
1
Open your System
Properties dialog
via
Start
Control
Panel
System .
2
Select the Hardware tab,
then click on 'Device
Manager'.
3
Expand the Sound, video
and game controllers
properties list and right-click
on 'Video Codecs' to open
the Video Codecs Properties
dialog.
4
Select the Avid AVI
Codec . . . , then click the
'Properties' button.
