You might be wondering how it is that the original
WONK TV Logo Build
Comp, which runs at 24 fps, can simply be dropped into a new Comp with a
different Frame Rate and not suffer frame stuttering at playback. After Effects is
an intelligent program; it knows that, whatever your final Comp's Frame Rate
setting, all layers residing within as Precomps will replicate that final Comp's
Frame Rate - even if they initially have vastly different Frame Rates. The only
problem you may experience is with Movie and Sequential files, where they
have different pre-set Frame Rates from the final Comp. There are many
solutions to this problem, but the simplest is to activate Frame Blending on all
Movie and Sequential Files throughout the Comp and its children. But for most
cases, just keep your Frame Rates consistent.
