In-Depth Information
Render Settings
The first module, Render Settings , is essentially the opposite of the Interpret
Footage dialog for imported resources - it's the Export Interpretation settings
menu. With this module you assign your project's: quality, size, output time
range, interlace options, and whether or not additional composition effects are
applied. Many of the Render Settings' options can be left to 'Current Settings'
or their default settings. However, some settings must be activated and
modified in order for your project to look and perform its best.
Output Module
The second module, Output Module , tells After Effects what to do with the
finished rendered frames. It also allows for one last image-processing pass prior
to frames being stored to the output media. Further, you can have more than
one Output Module per project creating alternate output versions with different
file types and sizes in one Render Queue pass.
Rendering Tip: If you find that your project is running out of memory during the
Rendering process, you can press the Caps Lock key to prevent After Effects from
updating the Comp Window, thereby reserving some extra memory for your
Rendering.
