A precise geographic point along the y-axis

origin
The point with the coordinates 0,0,0, where
the x-, y-, and z-axes intersect.
nuRBS surface
orthogonal drawing
A three-dimensional surface that does not
maintain associatively to the objects used in
its definition, but instead has control vertices
allowing for more natural sculpting. See also

A system of creating views in which each
view shows a different side of a building or an
object, such as the top, front, left side, right
side, and so on.
ortho mode

An on/off setting that, when on, forces lines
to be drawn and objects to be moved in a
horizontal or vertical direction only.
object
A basic AutoCAD graphical element that is
created and manipulated as part of the draw-
ing, such as a line, an arc, a dimension, a
block, or text. Also called an

Any one of a set of tools for precisely pick-
ing strategic points on an

PAN
A command that slides the current drawing
around on the drawing area without chang-
ing the magnification of the view.

The process by which the user sets up tem-
porary points or angles as guides for the
cursor

process of drawing.
