geometric tolerancing
A type of dimensioning where several accept-
able variances in the manufacture of a part
are displayed, including perpendicularity,
concentricity, and cylindricity.
group
1. A named collection of objects similar to a
block reference except that it may be toggled
on or off. 2. A group of related controls in a
dialog box, delineated by a framed box.
ghosting
The fuzzy or hazy appearance that a line or
another object takes on when it's selected.

grid
1. A drawing aid that consists of a set of regu-
larly spaced horizontal and vertical lines in
the drawing area . 2. A series of horizontal
and vertical lines in a floor plan or section
that locate the main structural elements of
a building, such as columns and walls. Also
called a column grid or a structural grid.
header
A horizontal support member that spans the
top of a doorway or window opening.

grips
hyperlink
An editing tool that allows you to perform
five modifying commands on selected objects
without having to start the commands them-
selves. When grips are enabled, small squares
appear on selected objects. By clicking a
