Click in the empty cell at the bottom of the Cost column to select it.
In the Insert panel, click the Formula button and then choose Sum,
as shown in Figure 9.70.

Adding a formula to the cell
As in a spreadsheet, a Sum formula adds the values of all the cells
in a selected region.
