8. At the Specify second point or <use first point as
displacement>: prompt, pause the cursor over the bottom-left
outside corner of the cabin to acquire a temporary track point.
9. Move the cursor directly to the right, and enter 4 ′↵ ( 1220 ↵ ), as shown
in Figure 7.41.
The window is copied to its new location 4 ′ -0 ″ (1220 mm) from the
corner. Press ↵ again to end the COPY command.
10. Select the new window and open the Properties palette; then change
the Scale X parameter to 3 .
11. The window resizes to 3 ′ -0 ″ (915 mm) wide, as shown in Figure 7.42.
Close the Properties palette and press Esc to end the COPY command.
TIP In a cluttered area, you can enter NON ↵ at any Select Point: or
Select Objects: prompt to disable all running osnaps for the duration of
a single pick.
12. Perform a Zoom Extents either using the navigation bar or by double-
clicking the middle button of your scroll wheel mouse.
This changes the view to include all the visible lines, and the view
fills the drawing area.

13. Use the scroll wheel to zoom out a little from the Extents view so that
all objects are set in slightly from the edge of the drawing area.
Your drawing, with all the windows in place, should look like
Figure 7.43.
14. Save this drawing as 07A-FPLAY3.dwg .
