In-Depth Information
Now that we have a plan, let's get started drawing some doors:
1. Make sure 04A-FPLAY4.dwg is open.
2. Check the status bar at the bottom of the screen and verify that
Dynamic Input is enabled (a blue background). Turn off the remain-
ing drawing aids (buttons) in the status bar.
3. Right-click the Object Snap button on the status bar, and choose
Settings from the context menu.
This opens the Drafting Settings dialog box, and the Object Snap
tab is activated (Figure 4.42).

4. From the Object Snap tab within the Drafting Settings dialog box,
click the Clear All button on the right and then click OK.
This step isn't essential, as long as the Object Snap button is turned
off, but it's best to be sure in this case. Object snaps are covered in depth
in Chapter 5 and are used throughout the remainder of the topic.
5. Launch the ZOOM Window command from the Zoom drop-down
menu found on the View tab  ➢ Navigate panel, enter Z at the com-
mand line, or use the Zoom button.
