3. Click the two jamb lines to extend them. Be sure to pick points on the
lines that are near the end of the line you want to extend, as shown in
Figure 4.35, or the lines will be extended in the opposite direction.
The lines are extended through the interior walls to make the
jambs (see Figure 4.35).

To complete the openings, continue with steps 4 and 5. Keeping
the EXTEND command active, you'll use the Shift key to trim away the
excess lines You'll do this by creating two crossing windows—first to
trim the excess part of the jamb lines, and then the wall lines between
the jamb lines.
4. With the EXTEND command still active, press and hold the Shift key.
Keeping it pressed, select a point to the right side of the bathroom
and then another to the left, as shown in Figure 4.36.

5. Repeat the same process you used in the previous steps. With the
EXTEND command still active, press and hold the Shift key to create a
