Connect to a Wireless Network
Your Mac Pro has built-in wireless networking capability that you can use to connect to a
wireless network within range. This could be a network in your home, your office, or a public
location such as a hotel. In most cases, this gives you access to the wireless network's Inter-
net connection.
Most wireless networks have security turned on, which means you must know the correct
password to connect to the network. However, after you connect to the network once, your
Mac Pro remembers the password and connects automatically the next time the network
comes within range.
Connect to a Wireless Network
Click the Wi-Fi status icon ( ) in the menu bar.
Mac Pro locates the wireless networks that are within range.
