Create an Apple ID (continued)
As part of the sign-up process, you specify which iCloud services to use. First, you decide
whether you want to synchronize data such as contacts, calendars, and bookmarks with
iCloud. If you are not sure, you can turn off this feature for now and decide later (see the sec-
tion “ Set Up iCloud Synchronization ”). Second, you decide whether you want to use Find My
Mac, which enables you to use iCloud to locate your lost or stolen Mac. Again, if you are not
sure what to do, you can decide later (see the section “ Locate and Lock a Lost Mac , iPod,
iPhone, or iPad”).

For each security question, click to select a question and then type an answer.
If you want to supply Apple with an emergency e-mail address, type it in the Rescue
Email text box.
Click Next .
