Force a Stuck Application to Close
When you are working with an application, you may find that it becomes unresponsive and
you cannot interact with the application or even quit the application normally. In that case,
you can use an OS X feature called Force Quit to force a stuck or unresponsive application
to close, which enables you to restart the application or restart Mac Pro.
Unfortunately, when you force an application to quit, you lose any unsaved changes in your
open documents. Therefore, you should make sure the application really is stuck before for-
cing it to quit. See the second tip for more information.
