You might think it would take Mac Pro less time to load without those extra components,

What benefit do I get from booting Mac Pro in Safe Mode?
Safe Mode is mostly a technique of elimination. That is, if the problem still persists in Safe
Mode, you know a hidden process is not causing it. If the problem does go away, it is a bit
harder to deal with because Mac Pro offers no method for disabling individual components.
