away from the bottom of the screen.

Is there a faster way to hide the Dock?
Yes. You can quickly hide the Dock by pressing + + . This keyboard shortcut is a
toggle, which means that you can also turn off Dock hiding by pressing
+ + .
When the Dock is hidden, you can display it temporarily by pressing
+
(on some
keyboards you must press

+ ).
How do I bring the Dock back into view?
When you no longer need the extra screen space for your applications, you can turn off
Dock hiding to bring the Dock back into view. Click the
Apple
icon ( ), click
Dock
, and
then click
Turn Hiding Off
. Alternatively, display the Dock, right-click the Dock divider, and
then click
Turn Hiding Off
.
