Add a Transition Between Clips
You can use the iMovie application to enhance the visual appeal of your digital movie by in-
serting transitions between some or all of the project's video clips. By default, iMovie jumps
immediately from the end of one clip to the beginning of the next clip, a transition called a
jump cut
. You can add more visual interest to your movie by adding a transition between the
two clips.
iMovie offers 24 different transitions, including various fades, wipes, and dissolves. More
transitions are available if you applied a theme to your iMovie project.
