Create new Event
option ( changes to ).
Use the Create New Event text box to type a name for the import event.

If you want to add the video to an existing event, select the
Add to existing Event
option ( changes to ) and then choose the event from the pop-up menu.

Import

Import Selected Clips
Connect the video device to your Mac Pro and place it in playback mode, if neces-
sary.
iMovie displays its Import From dialog.
