Create a Reminder
You can use Reminders to have Mac Pro display a notification when you need to perform a
task. You can use Calendar to schedule important events, but you likely have many tasks
during the day that cannot be considered full-fledged events: returning a call, taking clothes
out of the dryer, turning off the sprinkler. If you need to be reminded to perform such tasks,
Calendar is overkill, but Mac Pro offers a better solution: Reminders. You use this app to cre-
ate reminders, which are notifications that tell you to do something or to be somewhere.
Create a Reminder
In the Dock, click
Reminders
( ).
The Reminders app appears.
